THE NOTHING

THE LAST DINOSAUR may not be a band you are familiar with, but that does not stop their latest LP, THE NOTHING, instantly gripping you with breath-takingly ambience.

Eight years after his first full length, Jamie Cameron returns with The Nothing and it is nothing short of stunning. Holding ghostly vocals nestled elegantly amongst dreamscape arrangements, we are introduced to Atoms as the opening track. It is this tone that is consistent across eleven tracks which offer a glimpse into Cameron‘s past.

The Nothing could easily be the score to a cinematically beautiful movie and All My Faith has already been added to Spotify‘s ‘The Most Beautiful Songs in the World.’ The track is ever-progressive and veers around unexpected corners in every key stroke.

Perfect for those late night car rides, those long ass train journeys and even just to put on while staring out at the battering storm going on in your back yard. It is an enticing record and one that demands a sense of reflection and hindsight throughout.
