PLAZA / PIC: JOE SPENCE

DEEP IN MY HEAD is the latest instalment of singles from Hartlepool alt-rockers PLAZA.

Smothered in echoing vocals and compressed yet dominating drums; Deep In My Head follows on from YouthSince the million-mile-an-hour TotemPlaza have grown and developed into a band with a clear idea of what they want from their music.

Constantly progressing, it is clear that something bold and raucous is coming and Plaza certainly impress with what they deliver. Eerily creeping to the three minute mark, the pace picks up before briefly re-mellowing out.

Sampling a girl talking of realisation and changes before an explosive burst of instrumentation concludes the perfectly executed single. Deep In My Head comes from upcoming EP that is certain to host similarly well-executed alt/math rock hooks and shoegaze-esque ambience.
