ALNWICK CASTLE have announced their biggest show to date and it is none other than pop sensation JESS GLYNNE!

Having just smashed a sold-out arena tour, she is high in spirit and confidence and ready to entertain the masses in what is set to be one of the biggest and best open-air events of 2017 in the North of England.

“I love outdoor shows and can’t wait to return to the North East! It’s going to be great fun playing at Alnwick Castle on 12th August,” said Jess Glynne ahead of the show.

Alnwick Castle will be working alongside Music Plus Sport to make the event a success. Anthony Norris, event director, said: “It is great to be in partnership with one of the most historic venues in the country.

“We’re able to bring our experience to bear on this event in August to ensure families and music fans in the North East have an amazing concert in a fantastic setting.”

Being the second largest inhabited castle in England, Alnwick has homed the Percy family for over 700 years. With jaw-dropping views of Capability Brown landscapes and the River Aln topped off with a Castle back-drop, those attending the highly anticipated gig can enjoy both the entertainment and the scenery in one evening.

A spokesperson for Alnwick Castle explained: “We are delighted to be teaming up with Music Plus Sport to bring such a prestigious artist as Jess Glynne to perform against the iconic backdrop of Alnwick Castle.”
