MOOSE BLOOD sold out Newcastle’s O2 Academy 2 as part of their recent UK tour.
Coming on stage at around 950pm, they played the majority of their debut album – I’ll Keep You In Mind From Time To Time as well as a couple of new tracks.
Latest single , Honey, came out last week and went down a treat when Moose Blood played it after Swim Down and Pups. The other new track performed was ‘Glow’ from upcoming LP – Blush.
The fans went wild throughout, constantly climbing on each other and trying to open mosh pits in the intimate venue. It was only during Cherry, described by Eddy as: “A song that means so much to me,” and the first half of Girl that the 400 strong audience calmed down.
Highlight of the evening was when Eddy introduced Bukowski as: “The first song we ever wrote together.” The fans knew what was coming. Absolute chaos.
Moose Blood’s visit to Newcastle came to an end after Boston and Gum were belted out from the Canterbury four piece.
Support came from The Winter Passing and Greywind who warmed the crowd up brilliantly.
